GIG AT NY TERMINAL 5

In Miami and Santo Domingo, Fatboy Slim also apparently had pretty bad luck with their crew and there were lots of complaints made to the agent in New York. Back stage, I was able to talk with Norman’s manager Gary, who is the president of Southern Fried for the first time. I really felt a renewed sense of luck to be working with them. And so, I feel like I was finally able to reset at the New York gig. I start at 9:00 and Norman will play from after 10:00 until the end. Because the two gigs before this were had troubles, the both of us played pretty heavy songs. Above it all, the wonderful response we got was great. Everyone, thanks for your encouraging messages, and all the support. Check back for the posted images etc.

マイアミとサントドミンゴでのギグはFatboySlimクルー的にも最悪だったらしく、
ニューヨークで僕らのエージェントにかなりクレームが入ってたらしい。
楽屋でノーマンのマネージャーでありSouthernFriedの社長でもあるギャリーと
はじめてゆっくり話が出来てよかったし、彼らと仕事出来てるのはラッキーだと改めて実感。

というわけで、今回のUSギグようやくNYでリセット出来た感じ。
僕が9時からで、その後ノーマンが10時すぎからラスト。
その前の２ギグが最悪だったので、心なしか二人とも攻撃的な選曲が多かったかな。
なににせよ、素晴らしいレスポンスを貰えたのでめでたし。
